This page displays the geolocational information for the inscriptions of Hadrian’s Wall derived from the Roman Inscriptions of Britain volumes I and III. (RIB I and III). It is presented using two online mappping systems.
First here is the data in the Google Maps Engine Lite. There’s not much control over this version of Google Maps as yet but it may improve, given time.
Now here’s the rather more sophisticated Geocommons version. Looks better but doesn’t format the HTML information for each placemark very well.
